  • Gain an understanding of the importance of “Dignity at work” and its benefits both to the individual, the team dynamic and the organisation,
  • Explore “Labelling” and its limiting impact on performance, interaction and results,
  • Examine personal beliefs, boundaries, opinions and attitudes to others,
  • Recognise different forms of interpersonal behaviour and how they affect interaction in the workplace,
  • Explore how we communicate and the message we send,

Programme content:

  •  What “Dignity at Work” means and why it is fundamental to the success of any organisation,
  • A “Dignity at Work” policy, content, aims and objectives,
  • How labelling influences beliefs, habits and behaviours,
  • Diversity and its many labels – visible, invisible, societal, personal,
  • Conflict, how it arises and what is its impact,
  • How to differentiate between bullying, harassment, inappropriate behaviour and sexual harassment,
  • Personal boundaries and the response to those boundaries being crossed – physical, emotional and cognitive.
  • How to raise awareness to the identification of unacceptable behaviour;
  • How we communicate in the workplace and it’s impact on others,
  • How different personality types react in different ways,
  • Stepping outside of the box and building new habits, beliefs and understandings,
  • Why the results we get come from Focus, Meaning and Action,
  • How to recognise and deal with different types of interpersonal behaviour – Aggressive, Assertive, Passive and Passive Aggressive,
  • How to take an assertive stance and adopt solution focused strategies,
