Programme objectives:

Following our “Facilitation Skills” programme participants will have the knowledge, skills and techniques to:

  • Plan, organize and run effective meetings, discussions, workshops and business development meetings,
  • Communicate effectively with groups and individuals, encourage engagement, interaction and group involvement,
  • Bring focus, direction, timing and results to an event,
  • Create non threatening environments of group interaction,
  • Understand different behaviour and personality types,
  • Work towards win/win solutions,
  • Deal effectively with difficult people,

  • The key role of a facilitator,
  • The key benefits of facilitation,
  • How to establish the ground rules for an effective process,
  • How to guide the facilitation process, through core values, choice and commitment,
  • How to establish and agree the agenda,
  • How to plan, organize and run effective meetings, discussions, workshops and business development meetings,
  • How an when to ask key questions, open and closed,
  • How to reframe ideas and questions,
  • How to communicate effectively, verbal and non verbal,
  • How to listen without interference,
  • How to identify group dynamics and personality types,
  • How to work towards win/win solutions,
  • How to record and process contributions,
  • How to deal with difficult people,
  • How to encourage and motive participants,
  • How to promote decision making and group responsibility,
  • How to move a group towards their goals without bias,
